Coin for ID please. New photo added
It's not the best photo I'm afraid but it's difficult to capture what detail is left, the reverse is toasted but this side shows a shield with the top left and right and bottom centre panels show what I think are stylised crosses, I just cannot see the legend unfortunately. The coin is 21 mm in diameter and hammered copper alloy.
Any help appreciated

Re: Coin for ID please
Looks like a 17th C trade token. Got a better pic, that one's far too small!

My immediate thought was a jetton too. Too big for a 17th century farthing token or a standard sized half penny token. Could be a penny I guess
Really do need to know more location info though please if it is a trading token (along with a pic of the toasted side just in case

I'm in North Devon Oxgirl, all of the local tokens I've had so far are much smaller than this one, it's pretty much the same size as the double tournois that I find every now and again, I'm afraid that the reverse is totally toasted unfortunately.
EDIT.
Now you've mentioned trade tokens I've had another look and I think I can see NAT just to the top right, this could well be from Nathaniel Simmonds who Dioz identified for me on a different smaller token for me recently. I'll have a look.
Thanks to all.

No, not Nathaniel Simmons, Dioz identified the only one of his on record as having a Trefoil logo and much smaller.

A going over with a fine suede wire brush(or similar) should reveal the legend.

That is brilliant, I completely missed that page when I was looking
I also wrongly assumed all of our local tokens were farthings, just goes to show how knowledgeable the various experts are on here
Thank you once again Dioz and everyone's contributions.
