A couple of coins for ID please!

Post by HolzHammer » Wed May 15, 2019 6:46 pm

Evening All,
I got a nice spread of coins the past few afternoons ( and a sunburnt back, Rats!)
Along with a few knackered Georgians and a nice Viccy or two are these which are causing me a few more problems.. all found on drilled and rolled fields used for cover crop. Herts; its like detecting on a carpet...
The first is a lead token though not sure of age, the second - not sure though I think I can make out CARO(LUS?) - the third is a rose farthing and in better condition than others I've dug which is still not saying much... why do they suffer so or is it just the ones I've found?!
The second row, Number one - no idea, number two, Elizabeth I if I'm correct about the date (1573?) and not sure on the third and the last has me completely stumped - is it a button?!
Any Knowledge much appreciated, thank you in advance! Nice to get back out in the sun again.
All the B
Alexander
