Possible Bronze coin ID

Hi Guys think the coin may be a sceat definitely a lions face on side. Not seen one like this before?Any idea would be much appreciated.

Just had another look at this. I now think it favours Byzantine with that reverse.

I'll have a proper look later after the US close.

What is that on the reverse, Nil? Is it a block of Roman style numerals? x;

The face is definitely Wodan-like. Have you had any Sceattas/early Saxon finds off the site?

Hi Allectus sorry for not getting back sooner. I have had a good look and it looks to me that its rather a long animal with a tail ?. Yes there have been Saxon item found on this hill. Never seen one like it.
