Gold ring

Hi guys

I found what I believe to be a gold ring, but it is heavily tarnished......anyone know a good method to clean it please?

Hi, nothing normally sticks to gold, it’s part of its unique character ?

However lemon juice, I actually use food grade citric acid is good for most things ::g
PS baking soda is good to
Perhaps you could add a picture so we can advise more ?

Any discolouration should just rub off. As said gold is usually tarnish free unless it is low carat and has been in a salty environment. :D If it is not solid gold then the most appropriate cleaning method will depend upon what it actually is so a picture might help. ::g
