Looking for a buddy in Lincoln area Please

Post by CombatMedic170 » Tue Sep 03, 2019 1:09 pm

Hi There
I have just bought an Equinox 800, I have detected in the past but just getting back into it in a serious way. If anyone in the Lincoln area would be happy to have me tag along with them it would be much appreciated. I am currently looking for permissions, no joy so far but will persevere ::g

Kind Regards

Midge

Hi Midge, good luck in your quest for some land. Whilst you were out of the detecting things became so much more commercialised and now a lot of landowners are besieged by commercial groups offering hard cash in return for land for Digs ... and by the way can you stop anyone else using the land? B| Cannot blame the farmers who are not rich people anymore but you tend to be up against money these days. Clubs do offer money back to farmers for Club Digs and thats fine, its the bigger outfits who just want the profits that are ruining things. Just my own views ..
I have managed to get around 500 acres of land for myself in the past year but its too soon to get anyone else on, so I will do what I can anyway for you, around Hemswell village.
See you at the LHSS meeting on Thursday evening. They will be taking orders in CASH for the new club shirts and hoodies if you want to keep warm in winter, Liam :;@

Liam
I am so sorry that I missed this post until now, a lot of stuff on my mind at the moment. I have been to a couple more farms but still no positive responses at all, I will just have to keep on trying. I am going to the Detecting for Veterans Rally on the 21st September and it looks like it will be the first time I get to use my new machine which is frustrating, I hope I don't make myself look stupid? Hope your keeping well? Good luck when you are next out in the fields.

Kind Regards
Midge
