Re: mp settings
Hi. If your MP Toggle Switch behind the handle is a 2 position, it's a V.2. The V.1 has a 3 position Switch. HH Tim.

The videos below explain the basic set up and GB with MP. Please note that the GB with search coils smaller than 20" are to be done at closer distances to ground. For 13"DD GB is done from 2" to 10", for 10"DD from 1.5" to 10 ". Best regards.

Hi,
There is a video mineral control (g.b.,COARSE-FINE) for Nexus MP v2?
Or a detailed explanation?
The COARSE-FINE buttons don't react to.
Thanks.

Re: mp settings
The Coarse and Fine controls on the MP Mineral controls section are used to apply increased resistivity to highly mineralised soil conditions. Usually the toggle switch is turned first from Standard to Heavy, then the Coarse control is next. If the Coarse control does not prove sufficient for getting the detector quiet, then the Fine control is used in small steps to make sure the loss of depth is as little as possible.
Every time after any of the Mineral Controls are readjusted the Ground Balance must be done as the Mineral controls will change the Ground Balance adjustment.
