help needed!! bounty hunter settings

sorry if i've posted this in the wrong section,i've bought a bounty hunter 'bud lite',can anyone help me with the settings,i haven't used it yet but the guy i bought it off says it is a good unit for a beginner?,any help is appreciated,my 9yr old lad wants one now to come 'hunting' with me!!

Don`t know this model. Use the Bounty Hunter Tracker IV, dry sand only works well for me. ::g
