Target I'd numbers nox 800

Post by Chriscam » Tue Aug 13, 2019 8:57 pm

Hi all
Have had the nox 800 for a couple of months now but still unsure if it's set up correctly on land 1 . There is no issue with finding targets but whether its gold silver, lead or bronze, the target I'd number doesn't vary much , we are talking between +10 + 32 . These readings seem very low for the different metals compared to the whites dfx.
Thanks Chris

The Nox uses a different scale that is somewhat compressed. It's okay once you get used to it. 10 equates to about 56 and 32 to about 96 on some other machines. :D

As you get used to it you will start to recognise certain combinations of sound, shape and number. Even the way that numbers flicker can help ID a target. :D
