Hodograph target signature.

Post by wackid » Sat Oct 14, 2017 6:29 pm

I own a Rutus Alter 71 more than half a year now. And really love the detector.

Why? As a newbie I had the it really helped me to learn the sounds of Iron in a bigger iron part.

When you have a bigger lump of iron the target ID raises and sounds relatively good.
The Rutus really helps me to identify the target as iron. It shows a sweeped line in the screen. When it's brass copper etc the line is vertical.

What really wonders me.... Why only the Polish and Russian detectors have this?
I know the Deus has something similar.

Why is this not standard on each detector? I can't imagine a next detector who hasn't this feature.

The graph on the Rutus is in many the same as the Signagraph on the Whites XLT, DFX & V3.

It is an excellent tool.

The Whites Signagraph showed both ferrous and conductivity (intensity), not sure if the Rutus is the same though?
