Have had the nox 800 for a couple of months now but still unsure if it's set up correctly on land 1 . There is no issue with finding targets but whether its gold silver, lead or bronze, the target I'd number doesn't vary much , we are talking between +10 + 32 . These readings seem very low for the different metals compared to the whites dfx.

The Nox uses a different scale that is somewhat compressed. It's okay once you get used to it. 10 equates to about 56 and 32 to about 96 on some other machines.

As you get used to it you will start to recognise certain combinations of sound, shape and number. Even the way that numbers flicker can help ID a target.
