I’m sure that’s what the Nuns used to force us to have a spoonful of in the crappy infants school I went to back in 1950 :-O

That and a small bottle of milk. Amazing some of the nasty little tings that’s stick in your mind x;

Good session though. Always nice to find something like that.

Thanks for the comments guys .
I must admit I thought it was a canny find , I think I’m more pleased about it than the florin I found on the same session :D which I must say has come up a treat , a first for me . :D
Ide been in this paddock before but nearly wrote it off as it’s stuffed with bits of scrap ally, lead & iron etc . Almost deafening. ;)
I usually stick to the land behind it as not even 700 yds away there was a 12 cent fortified Manor House , Saying that I’ve only ever managed two hammerds off it :)) loads of Georgian / Victorian stuff , I reckon most of it has gone too deep as it’s ridge n furrow that as far as I’m aware never been turned over since it was worked with horses .i keep trying . Although I think il be hitting the paddock a lot more Now , there’s gotta be gold in there somewere :)) :))
