Bounty Hunter Tracker IV Metal Detector. Yes or No

Post by valenta » Sun Jul 22, 2012 8:40 pm

Hi
Been out today with my clarke detector, although it worked fine in terms of finds, i kept getting a constant tone unless i press the reset button then after about 2 secs a constant tone, after fiddling for a whole day ive decided its buggered so looking at getting another begginner machine. Seen the above detector for £70 new just wondered if anyone else has one or has used one and knows if they are any good?

Thanks in advance

hi bud,any metal detector is better than no detector,i dont know about the viking range but if you can save a bit more up you wont go wrong with a garrett 150,i use as a back up and it does the business for not much brass,cd.
Never wish this day gone, as this day can never be replaced

Hi There,

I've just started out with one of these after Stanslad came round to show me the basics, I also tried it with a few of his finds (ranging from a gold coin down to a really small quartered penny and it picked them up no problem. I went straight out in the garden with the boy and we dug up a 1970s penny and a one cent coin so was pretty happy although I haven't tried it in anger yet, anticipate a million ring pulls etc.

On the whole, pretty happy with it.
